a folded stainless steel sculpture - a minimal fabrication+assembly method makes for a minimal price - the lamp is sent flat packed, and is put together through a series of folded-tab connections - the lamp measures 10" x 6" x 6" and is made from stainless steel - the detailed patterns are cut through the use of a waterjet CNC machine, which uses a high pressure jet of aggregate and water to cut intricate shapes out of metal - www.happyfamilylamp.com coming soon, a design interface for the happy family lamp system that simulates a 3d working environment
